Dr. Michael Hults is the owner and clinic director of Active Sports and Family Chiropractic, LLC. Growing up as a competitive athlete in Grants Pass, Oregon, and attending Hidden Valley High School, he developed a lifelong fascination with the human body and the complexities of rehabilitation. As a former collegiate baseball player, Dr. Hults spent significant time in treatment rooms focusing on his own health and recovery—an experience that ultimately inspired his career in chiropractic medicine.
Driven by a passion for movement-based care and a desire to serve his local community, Dr. Hults earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, before returning to his hometown. As a Board-Certified Chiropractic Physician, he specializes in manual manipulation and soft tissue correction. Dr. Hults believes that immobility and poor movement patterns are the leading causes of chronic pain. His clinical approach prioritizes correcting movement dysfunction and treating soft tissue injuries. He is dedicated to supporting patients in all stages of life, including infants, expectant mothers, athletes, and those recovering from motor vehicle accidents.
Outside of the office, Dr. Hults enjoys spending time with his family and celebrated a joyful milestone in 2026 with the birth of his first child, a son. An advocate for the ‘movement is medicine’ philosophy, he spends much of his free time in the gym focusing on his own mobility and overall health.
